Vast improvement on my old PC July 19, 2010

This laptop was easy to set up. Although I was worried after I read the instructions that the 64 bit version of Windows 7 would cause me problems with my existing software and printer I have had no problems. The computer is a joy to use - the only issue I had was I could not remove the trial McAfee without a huge amount of effort and after 2 hours of getting messages saying You Have No Anti-Virus I finally gave up and paid for McAfee anti-virus as it was just too timeconsuming to run the removal tools over and over again. Also I get this intermittant blue screen error sometimes when I shut down and I haven't been able to solve this. Apart from these teething problems I am very pleased with the product.

I thought I'd write this review so that I can save others the time, money and effort. Don't get me wrong, the laptop itself isn't the problem, I can't really comment on the performance because I'd only had it out the box for 10 minutes before I sealed it back up and sent it back to Amazon. This is because the model advertised DOESN'T come with an HDMI outport. So if you're like me and find this really important, look for another a laptop, but if you arn't then you wouldn't go far wrong in buying this because it is pleasant on the eye and not that heavy for a laptop with a 17 inch screen.
