I was not aware that it came with vista. There was a leaflet with it offering a free upgrade to windows 7, but it was already expired. The computer itself is fine, no problems.

First let me congratulate Amazon on delivery. The laptop was ordered at 10am one day and delivered by 9am the next day. Unbelievable even for first class letters.
The laptop worked straight out of the box, connecting to our wireless network with no problems and has continued to function without glitches to date. It is an excellent balance between price and performance with the high speed Centrino dual 2 core processor supported by 3GB of RAM. The only slight downside I can see is that the screen is a bit shiny with the light behind you compared top my old Equium which had a matt finish. A slight quibble and one more than outweighed by excellent performance and, given my experience of previous Toshibas, excellent durability (oops, probably tempting fate there!)
