This laptop is simple to use with an inset keyboard. The software activated quickly and works fully. It loads pages from the internet quickly. The help desk is very useful in the early setup stages. Only critism is the power cable, for me, is on the right and power is on left, so a back position would have been better.

I am very happy with the Sony Vaio laptop I bought in June 09. My previous laptops have been Dell, which developed screen and battery problems and it was lots of hassle to sort the problems via telephone and delivery service.
Other members of our family already have Sony Vaios and are all very happy with performance and reliability over a long time of use.
I trust my new Sony Vaio will give me a long time with trouble free use - these first three months have been great.

Quite slow to boot up but when it does it's worth the wait.
Internet speed, amazing.
Webcam,self focusing. Very clear.
Built in mic very responsive.
Dissapointed that this version didn't have the card reader.
But all in all very satisfied with this laptop.

I recently purchased this laptop for a good price. I could not be any happier with my purchase. It comes with very good hardware,and free 30 day anti-virus protection.
The laptop itself is very nicely designed. It looks and feels very modern. It took me half an hour or so to update and install all I needed to get going. Everything runs quickly and smoothly, and video playback on websites such as Youtube is very high quality.
Windows Vista itself runs smoothly on this laptop but you get a free upgrade to Windows 7 in October with this model. I can't recommend this laptop enough. Its a good price for a very good model.
