i like this system, but the problem with it is only its memory is 1 GB and its charging timing is only 1 hour.

Looking at the specifications one would immediately see that there is some decent hardware that has gone into the L300-D20, albeit a lower spec laptop. The updated model does however come with an integrated webcam. Also note this one is not eligible for the Windows 7 upgrade. Vista on 1GB of RAM is crazy, do yourself a favor and either buy another 1GB RAM module (upgrade to 2GB) or get a 4GB kit, worth the investment.
Those points aside you will enjoy working on this laptop. The question I had for myself was laptop or netbook? I chose laptop as I prefer the larger screen. This brings me to the beauty that is the 15.4" TFT WXGA TruBrite 1280 x 800 screen, powered by the Mobile Intel GMA 4500M 284MB graphics card. One suggestion is get some cleaning cloths to occasionally dust off the screen. You get a crisp clear image and videos are just great on this, hook up a larger screen or TFT-TV and you have yourself a magnificent media machine on the cheap.
With built in WiFi connecting to the internet (as long as you have a WiFi router) is a doddle. The 160GB Western Digital hard drive is fast yet quiet and you have more than enough space, ample storage for your docs, pics and movies (Just remember to backup, always good practice).
The Intel Celeron T1600, 1.66GHz, 1M L2, 667 Mhz fsb is a great little work horse and don't underestimate it. Dual Core processing at 1.66GHz alongside some more RAM makes this a great combo for the budget concerned buyer.
Processing/Quality: - 4/5 (Celeron will never match upto it's bigger brother)
Reliability: -------- 5/5 (Can't fault Toshiba)
Ease of use: -------- 5/5 (DVD, WiFi, Great keyboard feel, peripherals and USB no problem)
Installation: ------- 5/5 (Vista is a bit clumsy but out the box and off you go)
Battery life: ------- 4/5 (With more longer lasting batteries out there I couldn't give it a 5)
Features: ----------- 4/5 (just the lack of webcam)
Summary: A very good laptop for every day tasks, surfing the net, emailing as well as using it as a media PC. You won't regret it for the price you pay, a class of its own.

Straightforward, good value replacement for a Dell which didn't last 3 years (Student's general purpose use, no abuse). Speakers give a better sound than the Dell.
