Seeking inexpensive workhorse, chose this machine for low cost, good memory size, and XP Professional so I could dump Vista.
Company delivered in five days, including a weekend, to the middle of Germany, a great service saving me much trouble.
Machine arrived unmarked - it could be taken as new - and worked straight from the box. Connection to my WLAN was immediate, and by evening of the first day all software and updates were in and running. Keyboard is fine with no oddball functions,but the mouse pad is a little reluctant to respond, although I normally need time to adjust to a new one.Battery life is fine, CD drive problem free, and all the USB ports work as they should. A good buy if you want a working tool - I am delighted. Supplier is good too!

This product arrived early. I was suspicious that the colour was just a gimmick to get people to buy it, but the colour is exactly as the photo suggests. It is really attractive to look at.
I chose the latitude for sturdy quality so if you are after style, look elsewhere. The quality and condition of the product is very high. The keyboard is in very good condition. The up arrow is a little sensitive, but that suits me as I use it often. There is a small pixel in the screen that is knocked out and it leaves a tiny dimple when light colours are displayed in that area. This is not a problem for me and not noticable.
When the product arrived there were no problems and I was installing all my software for about 30mins. I then reset in order for the settings to take effect, but there was a critical hard drive error. I wrote to the seller and they sent a new HD straight away. It was easy to install and it had all the software on it.
Im having trouble with the wireless card drivers but I think that is separate from the seller and is my hub model. The sellers have still offered support in this matter in the future if needed.
I was worried about the battery life of a refurbished laptop but it appears that they have put a new one in.
The software included was xp professional, office 2000, cyberlink power dvd.
